Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and model data from multiple sources. Develop and optimise data models for performance and usability. Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Support and train end users to promote data literacy and self-service analytics. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting outputs. Document data definitions, lineage, and reporting methodologies. Continuously improve reporting processes and stay up to date with BI tools and trends. Contribute to the growth of the organisation’s analytics capability and data strategy. You… To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the below personal qualities: Minimum 3 years’ experience in business intelligence or analytics roles within financial services or asset finance. Relevant tertiary qualification in finance or a STEM-related field. Advanced SQL capability, including writing, optimising, and troubleshooting complex queries. Strong Power BI skills across data modelling, DAX, visualisation, and report design. High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate in complex or unfamiliar business environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, supported by curiosity, resilience, and a growth mindset. Understanding of data warehouse concepts and ETL/orchestration tools (e.g. Fabric, Azure Data Factory) and/or exposure to Python or R.
